Kabel light, Kabel book, Kabel heavy, Kabel black based on the original drawings
1898-1902: artist in a bookbindery in Leipzig. Designs book titles and his first typefaces. 1906: starts working as art consultant to the Gebr. Klingspor type foundry in Offenbach. From 1908 onwards: teacher of lettering at the Technische Lehranstalt in Offenbach
