Allineato was designed by Alessio Leonardi 1995 and is part of the Face2Face 2 collection. A double wavy outline roughly defines the contours of the characters and stable forms are nowhere to be found. The figures seem to be constantly in motion and even changing form. The airy inner spaces make for light lines of text and require large or very large point sizes. Only starting at 36 point can one see the full effect of the font's idiosyncratic character. The experimental Allineato will work especially well in trend magazines and flyers.
