Will Carter – born 24. 9. 1912 in Slough near London, England, died 17. 3. 2001 – type designer, printer.
1930–32: trains at the Unwin Brothers printing works in Woking. 1938: works at the Paul Koch workshop in Frankfurt am Main; becomes friends with Hermann Zapf. 1948: studies punch cutting with David Kindersley. 1949: founds the Rampant Lions Press in Cambridge.
