This category includes display designs that are all dark and heavy, like Aachen™, or optimized rather for larger than for smaller sizes, like Lubalin Graph (which matches ITC Avant Garde Gothic™).
Many of the typefaces in this category are based on woodtype faces that were popular in the Wild West. One example of this “western” style is Neo Contact™, a typeface popularized by the way it is used by Marlboro.
