![]() Font Designer: Adrian Frutiger, 1990 With his Vectora® font in 1991, Adrian Frutiger adopted the "American" type of grotesque typeface, in particular the Franklin Gothic® and the News Gothic™, developed in 1904 and 1907 respectively by Morris F. Benton for American Typefounders. Typical of American grotesque fonts are the rhythmic line spacings, large x-heights and taut individual forms. These design rules were adopted into the Vectora and extended to give increased legibility and well-balanced letter forms. Frutiger’s graphical concept is expressed in a homogeneous alphabet with an easy-to-read word and line image. |
Let the outstanding quality of this typeface convince you.
