Font Designer – George Thompson

George Thompson was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1945. He worked as a Graphic Designer and has taught Typography and Design History at Columbia College in Chicago for over 20 years. He founded the font label No Bodoni Typography in 1996. As a graphic designer, he created works in the fields of packaging design, product design, advertising, and corporate identities. He was also co-founder of Calhoun Press, a private printing press in Columbia, named after the first printer in Chicago, John Calhoun.
