Type Gallery – Venture

Font Designer: Hermann Zapf, 1969
Venture™ reflects Hermann Zapf’s handwriting. It was originally written with a Japanese feltpen. And like Zapf’s typeface Noris Script® he wanted to preserve the rough outline of the handwritten form in the final drawings. Venture was made for the Linofilm photo-composing system and released in 1969. Similar faces with rough outlines are Ruling Script™, Papyrus™, and Galahad™.
Let the outstanding quality of this typeface convince you.
