Reinforcement of sales, marketing and organisation – January 31, 2000

In response to rapid growth and the increasing internationalisation of business development, the team at the leading font house, Linotype GmbH, Bad Homburg, has been given strong reinforcement. Simone Wolf, 29, has been the head of sales marketing since the end of 1999. The business graduate has already gathered seven years of experience in marketing and sales and acquired in-depth know-how in the consumer sector, in particular.

As head of sales, Frederick Samuel, 34, is responsible for the national and international sales activities of Linotype Library. After completing his degree in Computer Information Systems & Communications in the USA, he was, among other things, product manager at Letraset Germany and sales manager at Wacom Europe. Mr. Samuel is expanding sales activities in Europe and North America for Linotype Library.


Jörg Schweinsberg, 35, has become head of process and quality management. During his mechanical engineering studies in Hannover, he focused on the field of production engineering. Since 1992, he has held various positions at the parent company of Linotype Library, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, including that of management assistant, project engineer and head of design consulting.
