Victor Garcia, 1997A symbol font of the TakeType No. 2.1. Linotype Zootype has been submitted to our Second International Type Design Contest and has been selected for inclusion in our TakeType Library. Linotype Zootype, designed by Argentinian Creative Director and Graphic Designer Victor Garcia, has won the 2nd prize in the category fun. He describes his font as "a mix between marzipan cookies and euclidian geometry. The design concept is a funny, happy joy of animal nature". Adrian Frutiger (member of the jury) on his font: "you could imagine its use in headlines of two or three words, where elephant and peacock heads might suddenly appear in the letter forms."
