About Barmeno BE Volume
Barmeno was designed by German musician, Hans Reichel in 1983. He named the typeface after Barmen an area in Wuppertal city and sold it to Berthold. Set as a full page it has a clean look with a soft feeling of warmth and harmony. The Barmeno font family works well for advertising copy and unconventional magazine layouts.
Hans Reichel also designed FF Dax, arguably one of the most successful advertisingfaces worldwide. Other popular faces by him are FF Sari and FFDaxline, as well as FF Schmalhans and FF Routes.
