Designed by Louis Oppenheim for the Berthold foundry, Lo-Type was revived for digital typesetting by Erik Spiekermann in 1980. A display face typical of its time, it has an irregular outline which gives it a hand cut feel. Lo-Type is useful for advertising, posters and headlines.
