Linotype Univers
Each weight is assigned its own three-digit number.
The first digit A defines the weight, the second B defines the width and the last C the position.
The perfectly coordinated makeup of the typeface family and the three-digit numeration system of the weight designations distinguishes the new Linotype Univers® from the old Univers. Clear distinguishing features also give the typeface greater transparency in type applications.
