About Briem Script font family

Briem Script began as a zigzag exercise for italic handwriting, and is used as a model alphabet in Icelandic schools. The Briem Script font family blends letter shapes from two styles. The angle of stem ends, especially in the bold weights, is closer to the tool mark of a brush than a broad-edge pen. The structure of chancery italic, however, is clear in the triangular bowls of the lowercase, and capitals of classic proportions.
