Mark Jamra is born and raised in the United States. Graduate studies were at The Basel School of Design in Switzerland. He is a graphic designer, type designer and Assistant Professor at Maine College of Art. Mark Jamra was type designer/consultant for Hewlett-Packard Research Laboratories in Bristol, England and URW Software & Type GmbH in Hamburg, Germany where he lived from 1984–1995. His typefaces include Brynmorgen Greek, ITC Jamille®, Kinesis, Expo Sans, Quelle Bold and Latienne. ITC Jamille and Kinesis are included in the Linotype Library. |
