Konrad F. Bauer and Walter Baum designed Impressum in 1963.Impressum was the Bauer typefoundry and Intertype's competitor to Linotype'sExcelsior. Like Excelsior, its proportions made it very popular with newspaper publishers, and the type works particularly well in smaller bodies of text. Today, Impressum is available from at www.Linotype.com.
Although it was created long after the days of the Old West, Impressum still has some Clarendon in it, making it a fitting choice for this documents with western theme. Alternatively, it can still be used for newspaper work.
Impressum is a registered trademark of Bauer Types.
