Kimberley Geswein Fonts
When Kimberley Geswein is not busy teaching her two daughters at home, she dedicates her time to her other great passion: calligraphy. Kimberly Geswein Fonts is a one-woman enterprise based in Orlando, Florida. Her library consists of more than 100 calligraphic fonts in a vast range of styles and includes something appropriate for every context. Many of her typefaces are also available as web fonts. You will undoubtedly find something appropriate among our selection – but see for yourself. We describe in more detail ten of her fonts.
Geswein sees Beautiful Every Time as typical of the handwriting of a teenage girl. Slightly kooky and cute, but readily legible.
From Where You Are
Brush-painted letters are the basic concept behind this clearly legible typeface. Without being obtrusive or overstated, it perfectly reproduces the feel of a brush font.
Janda Amazing Grace
Irregular outlines are used to simulate an uneven writing style in the case of Janda Amazing Grace . The characters have been produced using a quill and seem a little ungainly, but gain in authenticity as a result.
Janda Shine Your Light On Us
This highly playful and dynamic calligraphic font is almost a little too twee. The uppercase letters of Janda Shine Your Light On Us are slightly broader in appearance than their lowercase counterparts.
Jandy Swirly Twirly
The uppercase letters, which are evocative of initials, are flamboyant and cheerful, while the lowercase characters of Jandy Swirly Twirly reproduce sturdy letters written by hand with a ballpoint.
Janda Truly Madly Deeply
The characters of Janda Truly Madly Deeply have been standardised to a uniform height and are not only highly individual but with their flowery forms are also suggestive of the Art Deco style.
KG Les Bouquinistes De Paris
KG Les Bouquinistes De Paris is a slender typeface of French inspiration written with a felt-tip pen.
KG Somebody That I Used To Know
The model for this block letter typeface that has been carefully handcrafted was a typewriter font.
KG Strawberry Limeade
Sweeping uppercase characters and an uninhibited mixture of lowercase letter styles with capitals of reduced height give KG Strawberry Limeade its idiosyncratic personality.
KG Chasing Pavements
Thanks to its generous proportions, a fabric-like structure is apparent in the characters produced using a stick of chalk.
