One of the masters of writing this style was the emperor of the Song Dynasty Wei Zong. At that time, this writing style was used in education, law and government. This typeface is a systemized version of the Song typeface. It has retained the basic characteristics of the ancient type: thin lines and strong, thick endings to calligraphic strokes. The character of this typeface is strong and elegant; it is suitable for documentary usage and book setting.
