Venture Script reflects Hermann Zapfs handwriting. It was originally written with a Japanese feltpen. And like with Zapfs typeface Noris Script™ he wanted to preserve the rough outline of the handwritten form in the final drawings. Zapf Essentials® Communication belongs to the Zapf Essentials® Font Family which is part of the Linotype Originals.
Zapf Essentials are digital dingbats and ornaments designed by Hermann Zapf for everyday use and as the name say, you just have to have them! There are endless possibilities for their use, as the six different fonts contain together 372 designs with a variety of current, updated symbols for telephones, cell phones, telefax, and e-mail. Zapf Essentials feature a number oof special charactistics. Besides masculine hands there are also gentler ladie's hands. (in the old days only men's hands were available, mostly solid) And there are quick arrows with fading tails to show speed. Zapf Essentials consists of a large variety of applications.
