Menue Card Bistro Value Pack is part of the Monotype Originals.
Bistros are small, comfortable restaurants. These restaurants need informal typefaces to match their styles, and Linotype has answered this call with the Bistro Menu Card Value Pack. This package includes five casual faces to choose from, all bundled together at one low price.Brody is an informal, brush calligraphic hand. Reminiscent of hand-drawn 1950s advertising scripts, this typeface reminds its viewers of the "the good old days." Roundy and Escript are a step further in the informal direction -- Escript is so informal, it even looks like digitized handwriting. These faces can be used to stress the down home quality of an establishment. Mano, a more "typographic" design, is a post-modern italic style face that lends a contemporary, fashionable feeling to current environments. For a more classic or romantic approadh, try ITC Mona Lisa, a design in the early 20th century Modern style. ITC Mona Lisa has a very small x-height, and exudes a quiet elegance and self-assuredness.
