About Science Fiction Value Pack ...
Designer: various, 2005
ITC Belter's letterforms limit themselves to a limited form repertoire, resulting in a constructed typeface with a cool and technical character. A distinguishing characteristic of this font is the cross form at the end of many strokes. The letters all seem to be products of a mass production system.
A as part of their overall character design, each of the thin monoline letters in the Linotype Orbit Light typeface sports its own dot. This dot is found in a different position on each character, creating text with the illusion of various celestial bodies traveling about their orbits. In a hint towards timelessness, the design of Linotype Orbit's letterforms is geometric, and the face includes old style figures.
Linotype Quasaria's characters are composed of disjointed pieces. The eye tries to shape these symbols into the letterforms it is used to. This typeface's unique forms are intended exclusively for headline and display application.
Spacera developed out a design for the Star Tours Post Show at Euro-Disneyland in Paris. This contemporary typeface is an excellent choice when a futuristic element is desired within a piece of design.
Submerge is a truly space-aged-themed typeface. Its oval letterforms appear like spaceships from the outer reaches of our galaxy. Very wide and strange, with limited legibility; perfect for headlines and logos.
